bushfire fundraising event
Caulfield RSL are hosting a day to raise funds for those affected by the bush fires in Victoria.
On Saturday January 25th, we will be welcoming the team from Wild Action with their Interactive Australian animal show - the Zoo that comes to you! Wild Action are dedicated to promoting environmental awareness whilst showcasing Australia's rich and incredible biodiversity. Their interactive and engaging show will feature native Australian animals - including: koala, joey kangaroo, echidna, critically endangered mountain pygmy possum, giant snakes, eye licking geckoes, endangered owls, tawny frogmouth, bats, frogs, behemoth tree monitor, brush tailed bettongs, sugar glider + so much more. The show is suitable for all ages.
The family friendly day will also include other kids entertainment, face painting and activity packs.
There will be a sausage sizzle and meals available from the kitchen throughout the day.
From 5pm we welcome Caulfield RSL favourites Charlie and Fi back to the Club to entertain us through the twilight and into the evening. Charlie and Fi have been with the Club on the last few ANZAC Days and have proven to be great crowd pleasers.
The focus of the day is to raise funds for the Victorian Bushfire Disaster Appeal and Wildlife Vic Bushfire Appeals, so we will be asking for Gold Coin donations and rattling tins for the cause.
We hope that you will support this important fundraising effort.
