Light bodied with purple on the rim. Pepper, spice, raspberries, boiled lollies, camphor and menthol on the nose. The palate was balanced and rich with grippy, dry tannins and a lingering finish. A strong wine that should age well over 5 years.
Pairs well with salmon or other fatty fish, roasted chicken or pasta dishes;casseroles or, of course, stews like beef bourguignon
